Cook with me Saturdays of October and learn about nutrition!

I'm teaching another online 4-week course starting October 8th 2022! We're talking about a new topic each week and cooking together. You can sign up for the Whole Food Nutrition and Plant-Based Cooking seminar at this link.


This is my second online course with Bastyr University. I studied my Masters of Science in Nutrition for Wellness there, and it's so lovely to be back working with them for this.


We're meeting online so we can all join from our kitchens and cook some of my favorite recipes together. Topics we will discuss include:

  • Plant-based eating, protein needs, and sources

  • Inflammation, herbs, and spices

  • Gut health, prebiotics, probiotics, fermented foods

  • Intuitive Eating introduction

All our nutrition science modules will be pre-recorded so you can watch them whenever works best for you throughout each week. After that, we'll meet live on Saturday mornings (10am Pacific Time) via Zoom and we'll cook together. These are our menus for the Fall 2022 course:

  • Spaghetti Squash with Tofu Ricotta and Tomato Sauce

  • Green Herby Italian Soup & Sage Sweet Potato Biscuits

  • Probiotic Chia Pudding, Prebiotic Homemade Granola, and Fermented Carrots

  • Vegetable Bolognese Pasta and Kombucha-Miso Kale Salad with Quinoa
